Graph Art Project
Integrated Math 3 (9th and 10th Grade Students)
Students created the following art graphs using the website www.desmos.com. They graphed numerous piecewise functions and used inequalities for shading in order to make their art pieces. Some of their graphs employ the use of sliders, which animate their graphs. They had a great time making them and both I, and the students, were very proud of how they turned out! If you click on any of the graphs below, you will be taken to their actual graph and can see all of the equations that they used.

Math Semester Review Game
IB1 Math Studies SL (10th and 11th Grade Students)
As our semester project, I had students in my Studies 1 course (similar to Algebra II/Trigonometry/Stats) make a review game. They each contained at least 20 questions that could be used to help their classmates review the material learned over the first semester. The students loved both making and playing the games as a way to review for their midterms!

Pi Day Projects
All Classes / All Grades
Every year on March 14, the math department and our students celebrate pi day! I have my students make pi day projects; some of them write poetry, many of them bake, and there are always some great pi shirts. A few of them even take the time to put together amazing videos! Below are some of the pi day projects I have received in the past that I hope you enjoy!
